10 Most Creepy and Scary Places on Google Maps (Street View)

Google’s Street View captures some of the most amazing views in the world. It also happens to capture some of the creepiest and scariest views. We’ve did all the hard work for you to bring you the 10 most creepy / scary places on Google Maps:

  1. ‘El Bronx’ in Bogota, Colombia.This location was raided in 2016 and authorities found torture chambers that were known as ‘chop houses’ and used to dismember human bodies.
  2. Luník IX, Slovakia.
    • Large Roma community in Slovakia where poverty and disease are extremely high, heating, water and gas is cut off from homes, and unemployment rates are at 100%.
  3. La Isla de las Muñecas in Mexico
  4. Nagoro, Japan.

    • An old lady makes a new doll every time someone in the village dies.
  5. The Gate of Death, Auschwitz-Birkenau.
    • Over a million Jews were killed in this camp, along with 86,675 Poles, 15,000 Soviet POWs, 10,000 to 15,000 peoples of other nations. Few places on earth have seen as much evil as this one.
  6. The Aokigahara suicide forest in Japan.
    • Aokigahara is one of the world’s most popular destinations for suicide, and signs at the head of some trails urges suicidal visitors to think of their families and contact a suicide prevention association. The forest also has a historical reputation as a home to ghosts of the dead in Japanese mythology.
  7. Byron Township, Michigan. There’s a pond with a car in it where an old man crashed and died.

    • It’s still visible on google maps, but as soon as the public notices, they tried covering it up with The “national forest” link thing. You can still see it if you zoom close enough.
  8. Not entirely sure about this one but it appears that you can see a human corpse on the side of the road: Somewhere in Columbia
  9. “Cracolandia” in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
    • An entire area of drug addicts and poverty stricken citizens.
  10. Hashima Island, Japan.
    • Once the most densely populated place in the world, this island is now a ghost town
